Ingredients

Main
6  count large eggs

Directions

  1. Fill a pot with a couple of inches of water. Cover the pot and set the heat to high.
  2. Once the water reaches a boil, place a steaming basket with 6 eggs into the pot. Reduce the heat to medium-low.
  3. Steam the eggs for 13 minutes.
  4. Transfer the eggs to a food storage container filled with an ice bath. Let them chill for 15 minutes.
  5. With the lid on the container, shake it about 40 times to crack the eggshells.
  6. Peel the eggs and enjoy.

Notes:

  • If you try to smush more eggs in a smaller pot, it may take longer for the eggs to fully cook. Also, they won't peel away as easily. Best to limit it.
