5 lb Apples |
1 rounded tsp Cinnamon |
0.5 rounded tsp Ginger |
0.25 rounded tsp Ground Clove |
Directions
- Wash, core, and cut the apples into large chunks.
- Place the apple chunks into a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add the cinnamon, ginger, and ground clove to the apples.
- Cover and cook on high for 2-4 hours, or until the apples are soft and stewed to a chunky consistency.
- Once cooked, serve warm or let cool, then transfer to jars or containers and refrigerate or freeze.
